NOVEMBER BOxER OF THE MONTH
Our BOxER of the month in November was Johnathan Knifton. He’s been with us since May 6th and became a member instantly. It felt like he got us and we got him. He knew we were different and we knew he wanted to be challenged and motivated. These qualities are what drive results. We see them in lots of our members and we’re so proud of how far Johnathan has come on his journey with us. He’s standing proof that time, dedication and determination has really worked. All we do is provide the medicine, if you take it, the results will show for themselves.

I first got dragged along to BOx Leicester by my wife on a Bank Holiday in May this year, more for support than anything. We had done some pad work with a PT leading up to our wedding and had enjoyed that, so why not??
Needless to say, I was hooked…
Being insulin dependant diabetic, exercising is one of the hardest things to do well, but after a change of insulin and some guidance by the hospital, I felt happy enough to try 45 minutes of high impact workout. The rest is history…
A couple of 1:1 fitness sessions gave me a route forward, I took as much info from Bo and the team as I could, made it fit my lifestyle and the results show, in 6 months I’ve lost almost a stone in weight and feel fantastic…
I’m also the activity coordinator on a children’s charity camp for kids with diabetes. The fitness change in me has given me the confidence to sign up for a Tough Mudder and 4 Wolf Runs next year to raise funds, where I’ve also become the ‘trainer/motivator’ for a team of 12 in the Mudder…
If you’re bored of the mundane gym sessions with your headphones in or a run to nowhere and back, give the classes a go…
